It's amazing the kind of stuff that get saved over the years. I recently came across a McDonald's gift certificate. That might not seem too odd, but take a close look at the expiration date. December 31, 1977. Even stranger is where I found it, in an envelope filled with my old savings bonds. I guess someone though it might increase in value over the years. That someone was probably me.
